MCAlec was raised in a family that valued hard work, integrity, and learning. Early experiences instilled the importance
of perseverance, gratitude, and making the most of every opportunity.
A natural curiosity for computers, mathematics, and problem-solving eventually developed into a passion for building
solutions that improve processes and create meaningful value for people and communities. Although the journey toward
completing a degree followed an unconventional path, the commitment to lifelong learning remained constant.
Years later, during the pandemic, MCAlec returned to school and fulfilled a long-held goal by completing a
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a major in Software Engineering.
Growing up, sports such as table tennis, tennis, and badminton were enjoyed recreationally with family and friends.
Experiences in both recreational and competitive environments during the younger years helped cultivate an appreciation
for discipline, teamwork, healthy competition, and the value of community.
Believing that growth becomes more meaningful when shared, MCAlec has always encouraged others to pursue education,
self-improvement, and opportunities that create lasting impact. One of life's most cherished milestones was helping
inspire and support a loved one in returning to college, resulting in both graduating together and celebrating that
achievement on the same day.
Driven by a desire to build and contribute, MCAlec founded PickleSpotPH with a vision of helping players, courts,
and communities become more connected through technology. What began as a simple idea has evolved into a growing
sports-tech ecosystem designed to help players discover courts, join Open Play sessions, and connect with others,
while helping court owners increase visibility and grow through analytics, marketplace opportunities, advertising,
and community engagement.
Beyond technology and entrepreneurship, MCAlec believes in continuously learning, improving systems, and helping
others whenever possible. More importantly, progress becomes truly meaningful when communities grow together and
when opportunities are shared with others.
